About us
I first started showing Golden Retrievers in 1984 when I was lucky enough to purchase a bitch from the Unavale kennel Unavale Jayne of Cardrona (Densdale Jeremy x Unavale Disco Dancer). Bonnie was a wonderful girl with the true Golden temperament and from her mating to Westley Samuel produced Cardrona Brontelle of Nunsbrook. Down from this line I produced Cardrona Paper Ribbons (Sophie) (Maunsfield Startrooper of Maudanhall x Nunsbrook Jenna by Cardrona) who was my special showgirl but sadly in 1996 personal circumstances forced a break from the hobby and dogs that I loved.
In 2004 I was lucky enough to acquire from Viv Jones, Ninell Tavienne of Flaxengold (Daisy) my sweet and gentle girl and from Jean Griggs in 2005, my 'naughty but nice' Mulfield Skye of Flaxengold. I am extremely grateful to both as it has allowed me to start my showing career once again with a new affix 'Flaxengold' and has enabled me to continue with a love of Golden Retrievers and a hobby up to the present day.
In 2008 along came our lovely boy Tarot (Xanthos Sooth Sayer).
