 As we are a small kennel we only breed when we want a puppy for ourselves and great care and consideration goes into the planning of our puppies. We aim to produce Golden Retrievers who are happy, confident and well socialised, and the temperaments of our bitches and choice of stud dog is of paramount importance. As we are not commercial breeders you may have to wait some time to own a Flaxengold puppy.
As our own dogs live in our house and not in kennels we expect the same for our puppies, all homes will be carefully vetted and do not let puppies go to homes where the owners work full time. We expect our puppies to be provided with food, warmth, veterinary care when necessary, a permanent home and above all love and kindness.
Please be aware a new puppy is a huge committment.
We reserve the right to refuse a puppy.
All our breeding stock are hip tested and have up to date eye certificates. Future generations at Flaxengold will also be elbow scored. Our puppies leave with a full advice/diet sheet, contract and insurance.
